I slept horribly last night! I still got up at 4:00 to do my part time job. I did not want to get up! My bed says I didn't sleep that bad once I fell asleep, but it took forever to fall asleep. I feel like I slept like three hours and it thinks I had a little over five hours of restful sleep. It lies! I started to do my phone calls, but all the stores were closed even though they should have been open. I gave up and got on the treadmill. It was a tough choice between the treadmill and a nap, but I was responsible. I wanted an easy walk though, so I picked this one with hardly any elevation.
I started at 2.2MPH, but then I realized I was running short on time, so I wanted to speed it up to get done faster. Then I got a crazy idea. Let's test thing theory of walking at the front of the tread. I pushed it up to 3MPH and it didn't die. That's promising. I don't have much time since I'm running way late! Eleven minutes until I need to get dressed for work and I still need to eat and pack my lunch and snacks.
Below are the screen shots from iFit for both attempts at this walk. Apparently I was experimenting with speed the last time I did this. I did it faster that time but my guess is my shins were killing me the last time since I went fast and then went slow again. I wasn't in much pain today. My lower back was still a bit sore, but not as bad as it has been. Last night I cracked my back in bed. I didn't do it on purpose, but I was rolling over and it cracked. I had given up cracking it since it wasn't working and then it cracked on it's own. I was pretty excited to walk today to find out if it would hurt. It's a good thing I did the walk this morning since I'll be home later today and who knows if I'll have the energy to get on there again!
