Beachbody Body Beast Day 3: Build Back and Bis

Day 3: Back and Bis

Today was Back and Bis. My legs were killing me from Leg Day yesterday! My chest and triceps were still sore from Monday from Chest and Tris. Back and biceps were always my favorite day way back when I was hitting the gym on a daily basis. I was super excited about Back and Bis! It did not disappoint me! I loved this workout. I haven't been able to roast my back or my biceps in awhile. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be in some severe pain tomorrow! I'm a bit afraid for tomorrow. My chest and tris will still be sore, my legs will probably be more sore tomorrow than today and my back and biceps are going to be sore! I have to do abs and cardio tomorrow. It's going to be a hard day!

I thought that my 10 pound dumbbells wouldn't be enough for leg day, but it turned out that I was wrong. Leg Day with 10 pound weights was crazy hard and I have crazy DOMS from it. I never even thought about back and bicep day. My back is apparently stronger than I thought. My 10 pound weights were not heavy enough. I ended up doubling up on my dumbbells. I ended up using two 10 pound dumbbells at one point. I used my 15 pound kettlebell for some stuff.

The first few sets were really easy, but as the workout went on, it got harder and harder! By the time I got to the bicep curls, I was dying! I loved it! I didn't have an EZ Bar, so I used dumbbells. I used the door attachment for the Pull Ups. I don't think my bands are strong enough. I have the red band. I'm thinking of upgrading to a black one. The last section with Airplane Cobra was pretty easy.

Overall, I was so happy with this workout! I loved it!

Here's the worksheet for the day!

I was surprised to have 10 minutes of total activity in this one. Part of it was the warm up. It was also probably partly due to it being a bicep day. My arms moved around a lot in the workout. I also had to move around the room to get the correct weights and stuff.

If you want to learn more, check out the video. If you're interested in purchasing the program, make sure you buy it from a Beachbody Coach so you get the free workout. If you don't have a coach, you can sign up under me. The video may make it look like this program is just for guys, but it really isn't. Women should lift and lift as heavy as they can. We don't need to be spending hours upon hours pumping pretty pink 2 pound dumbbells to get lean muscle. We can do the same stuff as the boys. We might need smaller weights, but that's okay. We're not going to bulk up and look like these guys. It's just not going to happen unless we want it to happen and take a boat load of steroids to make it happen.
