iFit 1 mile Challenge Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Today is Sunday! Sometimes, I'm in the mood to walk and sometimes, I'm not! Today was just sort of in the middle. We were supposed to get out of the house kind of early and do some shopping in town, but when we woke up, we decided to scrap the idea and just shop at the grocery store near us and skip the other stuff we needed. We're going to get an air fryer, but Best Buy doesn't open until 11:00 on Sunday! We're getting it from Best Buy because we have rewards certificates from some promotions they were running during Christmas. Hubby was a bit slow with deciding he was ready to go out and I was waiting until after the shopping trip so I could work on the apple cider carrots and parsnips and my treadmill walk. There's also dishes to be done and laundry! UGH! Oh and let's not forget the rest of the reading for my COC course. 

I don't have any with any elevation left, so I didn't really put much thought into picking a walk. I didn't really have a plan when I got up there, but during the warm up, I decided I would start at 2.1 MPH and then go one .1MPH every .10 mile. I was curious how that would go. I wasn't sure if I would be able to finish the last 10th at 3MPH. I did though! It was a bit rough, but I could have kept going if I had to, so I didn't completely kill myself. The last time I did this walk, I did 2.6MPH the entire walk. Today was a little less than a minute longer than my previous attempt. I'm not in each walk to break any records, so I'm okay that this was slower. I had fun with my plan. This was a pretty flat walk, so I'm glad I had a speed thing to keep my mind on something since pretty flat stuff is boring. 

Today was Pokemon Go Community Day, but I decided to skip it for the most part. I might regret it later because I didn't get a shiny, but whatever. Because of Community Day, they were running a 1/4 hatch distance so I loaded up all my egg hatchers. I only had 2km eggs though which kinda sucks since it's pretty much a waste of an egg hatcher, but whatever. I ended up hatching them all, a got a party hat wurmple, Klink! (this came out of a 10km egg that was already in a hatcher and this is a new one for me! woot woot!), Dwebble (another new to me one), Shiny party hat Pichu, another Dwebble, party hat Pichu, Snivy, and Croagunk (from a 5km egg that was already in a hatcher).  I now have no eggs! I might have convinced myself to get back on the treadmill later if I had eggs to hatch. Oh well!
