iFit 1 Mile Challenge Wroclaw, Poland

Today was a holiday! Well, if you work for a bank or the government, it was a holiday! I don't work for either, but hubby does. I had the car today and had to drive myself. I'm so spoiled! I hate driving. On the upside, it meant I got to go in early and leave early! I left at exactly eight hours! It was amazing! I got good parking and I got to go home early. That meant I had no choice but to walk! I wanted to walk anyway, so it worked well. I thought about doing a longer walk since I had the time, but I really wanted to just clean out the 1 mile challenge walks. I only had four left. That should round out the week. I don't think I'll be walking tomorrow because we might be going to Best Buy to get that air fryer!

I picked this one for no real reason. I only had four left, so it's not like I had many choices. The other day, I tried to do 2.6 MPH and then bump up to 2.7MPH. I ended up bailing on that plan with five minutes to go. I decided to try it again, but I made this plan too far into the warm up so I wasn't really ready for 2.6 when it flipped over to the workout. I did it though. I put it on 2.6 and told myself at the 1/2 mile mark, I'd bump up to 2.7. I thought this was a bad idea about five minutes in, but I kept with the plan. At about nine minutes to go, I really knew this was a bad plan, but I kept going. At six minutes to go, I really really knew this was a bad idea. At five minutes to go, I was like OMG! I'm totally going to do this! At one minute to go, I was cursing myself for this plan, but I did it! I made it through. I thought for sure my 22 minutes and 47 seconds was going to be a record for this walk. I was so proud of myself for getting less than 23 minutes. Then, I pulled up the previous walk and I was five seconds slower this time! OMG! The last time I did it, I started at 2.6 and then bumped it up slowly to 3MPH over the last .15 mile. Oh well! I wasn't going for a record. I was just trying to get my 2.6 for the first half mile and 2.7 for the second half mile. I did that so it was a success!

I didn't hatch any eggs! I was by myself this morning so I couldn't spin all the stops. All I could do was push the button on my ball. I only got two eggs on the way in. On the way home, it was the same, but I only got one more egg. I ended up with two 5km eggs and one 10km egg. I only walked a mile, so no hatching for me. ugh.
