iFit 1 Mile Challenge Isla Mujeres, Mexico

I didn't really feel like walking tonight. My belly was gassy again and I was tired. I wanted to apply for a job tonight instead. I got on the treadmill though. I picked something with no elevation. Then the treadmill stopped responding. The timer stopped moving, the speed wouldn't change, and I couldn't get it to stop without pulling the safety key. I had to shut it off and turn it back on and I thought that was a sign that I should not continue, but I picked a different walk and got moving.

I started out at 2.5 and then decided to bump it up since I felt good. I kept bumping it up. I think I was at 2.7 MPH with six minutes to go and I pretty much wanted to die. My left shin was killing me. It was hell. I convinced myself to go to five minutes and then if it still sucked, I'd go slower. It still sucked. It hurt. This wasn't just oh I'm a wimp. This was really bad! I had to decide if just powering through and being done faster was more important than getting to slow down. At five minutes to go, I just couldn't do it anymore. I went down to 2.5 and that didn't help so I went down to 2MPH. It still hurt like hell. It bumped my time up to about 6:30 which sucked so bad. I thought about going faster again, but I just didn't have it in me.

I finally got through it and then shorted the cool down. I just did one minute of that. I just needed off. I could barely get to my chair to type out this post. Hubby started dinner too soon though so I'm out of time.

My eggs! Shieldon, Pichu with a hat. Just the two!
