iFit 1 Mile Challenge Scalloway, Scotland

It's another Monday! I wasn't sure if this walk was going to happen. It was supposed to snow a bunch so I thought I would not have time to walk since it would take longer to get home. The snow was pretty disappointing, so then I thought I'd have time to walk. Then I got really gassy and I thought I wouldn't be able to walk. I was still gassy when I got home, but I decided that I didn't care about that and I was going to walk.

I wasn't really sure what I was in the mood for, but I knew I didn't want just flat boring, so I picked this one since it was pretty much the most elevation of anything I have left. I'm going to have a bunch of flat walks in a row. I started this out going 2.2 and planned on staying there the entire time, but after I came off the last little hill, I felt good and decided I was going to push it up a notch. I slowly got up to 2.4 and then tried to go to 2.5, but the machine didn't switch so I thought I didn't hit it so I hit it again and went from 2.4 to 2.6. Oh well. I survived. I worked on getting up to 3MPH. The last minute sucked. My shins, calves and left hip all hurt. I didn't want to die though. I wasn't even really doing the countdown until the last 20 seconds. I'm feeling pretty good about this other than the hip thing. What the heck is up with that. I really need to get around to calling the chiropractor.

I took four minutes off of the previous time, but it doesn't look like I put any effort into the previous attempt. It was towards the end of the 30 day challenge and I stuck with 2MPH which seems odd, but I wasn't keeping a journal of things at that point. I make no guesses about what was going through my mind. Maybe I felt like crap.

Dinner is almost done! But, before I go......I must talk about my eggs from Pokemon Go. I got a Piplup. Ugh. I also got a Feebas, but that must have been before I got on the treadmill. I didn't get to see the egg hatch animation. The eggs are really crappy lately. They really need to work on that. It makes me not want to pay for egg hatchers. I have two more eggs close to hatching! Maybe I'll have better luck with those.
