Day 15: Go For It
I was scared for this day! After last week being so difficult for me, I feared that this week would be worse! I was pleasantly surprised though! This workout was fast and I didn't look pretty doing it, but I didn't feel like a fish out of water. I just felt like I needed more practice. I was able to understand what to do with my body, but I had a hard time remembering which move was next. That's pretty much the opposite of last week. Last week I just couldn't get my limbs going in the right directions even though my brain knew where everything should be going next.
I'm hopeful that I'll be able to master this workout by the end of the week! It's hard when you only do each one three times though. We'll see how it goes on Friday when I do this one again. This one had some new moves, but it also had some moves that we've done before in other workouts. Maybe that's why it was easier for me since I had practice with some of the moves. This one had a fun little move where we cross our feet in midair! Normally we do a cross jack think so we jump up and land with our feet cross in the center and then jump up and land with our feet wide. In this workout, we jumped up in the air, crossed our feet without touching down, uncrossed them and landed with our feet wide. It was oddly fun. I like jumping! It's fun if it's just a few jumps here and there, but it's hard if it's continual jumping.
Overall, I've got to say that I enjoyed this workout! The time went by pretty quickly even though I ended up getting a bellyache midway through. I hung in there and finished it even though I wanted to pause because of my tummy.
Polar M400 Screen Shots
Here are the screen shots for the Polar M400 activity tracker. It's not very impressive for the calorie burn, but it was my first time, so I didn't really put all I had into it. We'll see how Friday goes. I usually do okay on my first try, pretty good on my second and okay on my third.
