What I did and why
Day 7 of the Warrior Program of Les Mills Combat is a rest day! I was a little stiff form the workouts the previous couple of days, but it was the weekend and I like to hike with my husband, so we went for a hike. The book called it easy. We took a wrong turn and had an easy hike, but then my husband thought it would be a good idea to actually do the hike that we set out to do. It really bothered him that this was our second attempt at doing this hike and it had failed. The first time, we didn't want to risk taking the care on the patch of the road. This time we just planned to park further down and walk up. However, we didn't go the right way once we got to the trail head and went 1.5 miles the wrong way before we turned around. He couldn't let the hike win, so we went up 800 feet! So much for resting my legs! You can read about the full ordeal on my blog post about the Echo Basic Hike.
