Beachbody Les Mills Combat Day 12 Review


What I did and why

Yesterday, I did Day 10 of Les Mills Combat. I'm doing the 60 day Warrior program. Day 10 was Plyo Hiit 2. I'm not a big fan of either of the HIIT workouts, but I think I like this one better than the other. The other seems to have more of the jumping stuff. I still don't really see how this is a HIIT workout. There's just no structure to it. There are parts that are high intensity and there are parts that are lower, but it's just this mish mash of stuff that doesn't have much flow. It's a great workout, but it just doesn't seem like any HIIT stuff I've ever seen or done. I did a little better with the workout this time. I still can't keep up for certain parts of it. I tried to modify it less this time, but I may regret that decision. My right foot has been bothering me. I think I need new shoes. Anyway, I did some of the skater stuff, I forget what they called it, but they're skaters to me! The next day, my right ankle was a bit off. So now I have angle and heel pain. Oh joy. This workout has a lot of squats and a lot of lunges! It was hard getting through it after having a rest day. I wasn't really ready to make myself all sore again!

Here are my BodyMedia screen shots for the workout. I know that I modify stuff, but that just doesn't look like a HIIT workout arc! I get more vigorous minutes with Leslie Sansone. I think the burpees are killing me as far as this intensity thing. I need to pick up my game on the burpees. Hmmm.
