Beachbody Les Mills Combat Day 13 Review

What I did and why

Today was Day 13 of Les Mills Combat. I'm a little sore this morning from the workout yesterday and I didn't get much sleep last night, but I still woke up and did the workout. I did not want to get out of bed, but I did it.

Combat 30

Today was combat 30 again. I like having a nice short workout for a Saturday, but I know that it won't last. Today was a slow start for me. I was a little stiff and a little creaky. My ankles and knees kept cracking. I eventually got into it and the rest of the workout went pretty fast. I was able to keep up with most of the stuff. I did the cross jacks and the scissor legs, but I didn't keep up in those sections. I'm pretty sure at some point, I thought this workout had a lot of squatting in it, but I think I was smoking something that day. There's not really any squatting other than the one section with back fist and kick thing. You kind of do a sumo squat while doing the back fist and then you do a knee strike and a kick. I'm getting better at the kick kata thing. It's a back kick, two knee strikes with the other leg and then a front kick with that same leg. I did the jumping front kicks, but it wasn't pretty. I'm still not convinced that it's a jump kick. It's more of a jump knee lift followed by a front kick since I'm pretty sure my knee lift leg is on the ground before my kick even starts, but it takes a lot of work to get 286 pounds off the ground.

BodyMedia Screen Shots

Here are my screen shots. They are pretty much what I expected. I don't have a whole lot to say about them.
