iFit 1 Mile Challenge Belogradchik, Bulgaria

I cleaned the house this morning and still managed to get on the treadmill. That's impressive for me! It's only 2:36 so maybe I'll get on there again later today since this was only one mile. Not sure why iFit thinks I was in Buglaria, but I'm pretty sure it was Bulgaria. This one had 185 feet of elevation and it was pretty much all in the third quarter of this. I was going 2.2MPH because I hit the 2 twice when I went from warm up to the actual workout.

That is one annoying thing about this machine. The warm up starts at 1MPH. I slowly work my way up to 2MPH during the three minute warm up. Once the warm up is over and the workout starts, the machine reverts back to 1MPH and I have to try to hit the 2 at the right moment to avoid that slow down. The slowdown isn't the end of the world, but it is very annoying. Maybe there is a setting that I can change. The cool down is acting weird now. It used to slow down to 2MPH and go to zero incline, but now the speed and incline seem to stay on what I was at for the end of the walk.

The nice thing about this treadmill......If you want to go 2.5 MPH, you can hit the 2 and then the 5 and you'll end up at 2.5MPH. That's how I accidentally end up at 2.2 since I hit the 2, but there is a delay so I hit it again and then I end up at 2.2. Once I'm at 2.2, I hate to hit the button to go slower, so I just stick with the 2.2.

My back didn't hurt much at all during this one and neither did my arms really. I have total ADHD with my arms though. I have them high on the bars, in the middle, down low, on the cross bar, on the side bars and then back up again. I just can't seem to figure out where to put them. My right calf was a little tight during this walk, but it wasn't as bad as it was before. I guess I'm making progress, so that's good. We were watching football while I was doing this one, so I did't pay attention to the slide show thing. I think this was the first time I did this walk. I'm not sure how I missed it while I was doing the 1 mile challenge way back a year go, but iFit says it was the first time I did it.

I managed to hatch an egg for Pokemon Go while I was on this walk. According to the app, I've walked 20.7 KM this week, but that's a bit misleading since we get some credit while we drive and there was the phone shaking yesterday so I could max out my buddy for the day. I'm so glad they came up with Adventure Sync. I think more apps should come up with something similar to this where you can hatch eggs or get credit for getting some surprise creature. Maybe it could be motivational phrases instead of cute, fuzzy critters.
