What I did and why
I've been doing Les Mill Combat for six weeks now! Today was REST day! I love rest day! We normally hike on Sundays, but hubby's knee is still bothering him. I probably should come up with some sort of activity to do on Sundays until his knee is back to normal, but I woke up pretty sore from yesterday's Shock Plyo workout. Doing the burpees almost correctly really works the butt! My glutes are killing me today!
Okay, so I didn't just sit on the couch all day long, but I did do a lot of that. I had editing to get caught up on. I still have a lot of editing to do, but we went into town and did some grocery shopping. I made spinach, cucumber and celery juice. I also made breakfast which was scrambled eggs, beef kielbasa and Dave's Killer Bread Good Seed 70 toast with a little butter. Do you know how hard it is to find breakfast meat that doesn't contain mechanically separated meat, MSG or a boatload of sugar? It's not easy at the regular grocery stores and it's not affordable at the special grocery stores! It's crazy! I might have to start doing vegetarian breakfasts! I also made homemade almond butter today! My last exciting news.....I had my first taste of Shakeology today. i got the wrong flavor, but I still gave it a try. That's pretty much my day! Tomorrow is Combat Live 60 again. We'll see how all of that lunging goes with my glutes like this. I'm usually worse the day after the day after the workout! Tuesday is Shock Plyo again. I'm not really sure what they were thinking when they put this little plan together. Torture!
