iFit Easter Island Walking Tour Maoi Road Walk, Rano Raraku, Easter Island Day 4 (for me, but Day 3 of the tour)

I was a total slacker yesterday! I was going to walk before work and get this 1.8 mile one out of the way, but we stayed up until 9:00 the night before so I slept in and figured I would walk after work, but then I felt icky after work. I got super hungry at work and ate some crackers that I knew would make me feel icky, but I was so hungry I just didn't care. I knew that I had to get this one done today or it was never going to happen! We went out for breakfast and did our shopping. We came home and I made a few phone calls for my second job. Once I was done with that, I got up on the treadmill and did this nice 1.8 mile walk. Okay so it was 1.79, but close enough.

This one is day 3 on the calendar, but I did it on day four. Everything was going great, but then like two minutes in, the computer rebooted itself. The treadmill kept moving, but I had no video. When it finished it's thing, it started the video again and I didn't miss anything. I'm assuming that might have made the walk slightly longer than it should have been since the video started up again right before the spot where it had died, so I walked through the reboot process and redid a few seconds. I'm not complaining. There wasn't much elevation with this one, but it was the longest walk I've done in a long time. My calves started to hurt above five minutes into it. I did not have the warm fuzzies and thought for sure, I was going to fail this one and have to stop it from following the trainer. I really didn't want that to happen though. I pushed through it and made it to the end.

Before the walk, I noticed what looked like a headphone jack on the machine. I plugged in some headphones thinking it might be nice for my husband to not have to listen to the guy the whole time, but it still played through the speakers. I think the jack is mislabeled and you can run audio through the machine speakers if you have an aux cable, but I'm not sure.

This walk was interesting. The leader is entertaining enough. It wasn't much different than the previous walks though. There's greenery and there are moai statues. This one had a couple cows, some horses and a group of quail. I didn't actually see the quail, but he said they were there. The tablet screen isn't very big though. Maybe if I had the giant 22" monitor I would have seen them, but not on my tiny 10" tablet. Sometimes I wish I had gotten the more expensive machine, but it was waaaaaaaaaaay more expensive so I'm satisfied with what I got.

At this point, I'm just rambling, so I'll wrap things up. I hatched a Pokemon Go egg. It was a venipede. They are pretty new, but they are already getting old! Oh well. I'll see if I can convince myself to get back on there again later today and do another one so I can hatch more eggs. The next walk is 1.5 miles though. I might have to skip ahead and do a shorter one and then do the 1.5 miles tomorrow. I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't do these in the right order, but I did what I did to salvage a day that almost turned into no walking.
