Today is Sunday! I woke up, played on my iPad, took a nap, played on my iPad and then got on the treadmill! I have been dreading this two mile walk. I just knew he was going to make the whole thing 2.5MPH. I was wrong! He only made half of it 2.5MPH. There was a smidge of 2.4 and some 2.2 when we were on hills and then we went down hill and it was 2.7MPH for about 15 minutes! OMG I wanted to die! The whole first half of this I was telling myself, you just need to get through one more hill and you'll be fine! It's all downhill after that 15% blip. When he pushed it to 2.7MPH, I just wanted to scream. I honestly didn't think I was going to make it. I kept telling myself that as soon as we got to the last blip, it would go slower and stay that way. I was half right. It went slower for the 30 seconds on the hill and then we went back to 2.7MPH. My shins are killing me! OMG! On the upside though, I used to feel worse than this after only a mile, so I'm getting stronger! I pretty much kept my hands on the high bars for the bulk of this walk. I had them on the low bars for the flat parts in the beginning, but as soon as we hit 2.7MPH, I just had to hold on high. I'm glad I did this. I'm happy I survived without moving the speed slower. I'm also very thankful that this is over! I only have three walks left and they are all short. Hopefully, I'll be able to convince myself to do one each day for the next three days. We shall see.
I was pretty inspired to get on the treadmill since Pokemon Go is having an egg hatching event and there are some nice Pokemon in the 7km eggs. I bought a box Friday with a bunch of egg hatchers in it. I've got 9 eggs in the special egg hatchers that hatch in less distance. So my 7km eggs are hatching in 4.7km. I needed 2km to hatch about seven of them, so my 2 miles should have gotten me there! The first one was a male combee (UGH)! The second one is another male combee (GRR). The third one is a happiny (bleh). The fourth one is a gible. Pretty close to being able to evolve this all the way! Woot woot! The fifth one is another male combee. (what a waste!) The sixth one is a bronzor. (ugh) The seventh one is another bronzor. I really just want a riolu! I bought the egg hatchers hoping to get enough candy to evolve one since they say a Lucario is really good against Giovanni and I've yet to beat him. Oh well.
